A Stream of Living Water Never Thirsts

This Week’s Audio Message

“Jesus answered, ‘Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.’” – John 4:13-14

“On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, ‘If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.  Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.’  By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.” – John 7:37-39

Last week, I shared that Christ’s living water accomplishes only part of God’s redemptive agenda in eternally quench our “eternal thirst”.  His broader purpose lies in transforming us into wellsprings of life, streams that extends His living water to a thirsty, dying world.  We become a part of the “River of Water of Life” that flows the Holy Spirit’s “power testimonies” to the market places we touch.

To carry out the Great Commission, we must understand our roles as “living streams” that flow from the River of Water of Life.  In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus gave us the Great Commission “call”.  But in Acts 1:8, He gave us the Great Commission “revelation” that tells us how to carry out the “call”.  Jesus reveals that:

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

For many of us, the market places where we spend most of our quality waking hours are our “ends of the earth”.  God is bringing an awakening of the Acts 1:8 revelation to the market place as He establishes His Kingdom economy.  From this awakening, we believe that many will experience “power testimonies”, like Daniel in Babylon, as they come to realize their roles as streams of the Water of Life.

Our desire for MTC 2011 is to seek the Lord for a divine vision and activation of our roles as His wellsprings and streams, fulfilling the Acts 1:8 revelation.  We will intercede this week during the GPC for deeper insights of this revelation.  Please join us.

If you have experienced such “power testimonies”, please share them with me.  I may use them to encourage our network as we prepare for the November gathering.

MTC 2011 – “The River of the Water of Life”

This Week’s Audio Message

On a hot Samaria day by an ancient wellspring, Jesus made an extraordinary declaration.  He declared to a woman with a very broken life that, ““Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again.  But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst.  Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life” (John 4:13-14).

We cease to have physical existence without earthly water.  But we cease to have meaningful existence without living water.  What made Jesus’ declaration so extraordinary lies in the grace and hope He bestowed to someone mired in adultery and is only concerned with existence by earthly water.  God’s living water allows us to never thirst again.  But that is just the beginning.  Jesus declares that when we take in His living water, we also become His wellsprings to eternal life!  God’s amazing grace not only saves us.  He also grafts us in, like the branches of a vine, as the extension of His “river of water of life”, flowing from His throne to bring healing, testimony, and transformation to the nations (Revelation 22:1-2).

17 years ago, the Lord commissioned MTC as part of our 10,500 assignment.  Since then, His Kingdom agenda for this gathering has only increased in measure and clarity.  God has called MTC 2011 to bring His market place soldiers into a greater flow of the water of life and into a greater revelation of their roles as extensions of His “river of water of life”.  Like the woman at the well, we can only expect the Lord to astound us beyond our greatest expectations – in revelation, in healing, in empowerment, in commission, and most of all in grace and hope.

We sincerely invite you to this holy gathering to worship Christ.  We will worship by striving to serve Christ’s burning zeal for His Kingdom, to seek His heart and Kingdom agenda for this age as we prepare for His glorious return.  May you drink deeply from His wellspring and become His wellspring.

Welcome to MTC 2011!!!

The authority by faith

In Mark 11:22-25, Jesus unveiled yet another law of heavenly manifestation on earth.  Concerning His authority over a fig tree, Jesus told his disciples,

“Have faith in God…I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.  Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.  And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” Mark 11:23-25

Jesus wants us to know that He intends to share with us His heavenly authority over the earth.  The key ingredient to carry that out is faith – to not only believe what God will do but to also know our place, mission, and destiny.  That knowledge of destiny marks a person who has no doubt in his heart.  Please click here for the message I shared in April on experiencing Kingdom power through the connection between faith and destiny.

Last week, the Spirit also led me to share a testimony that reflected on my past professional successes – key “destiny markers” of market place anointing in my life.  I believe that these experiences are preparation for us to bring even greater testimonies to key Kingdom enterprises, of which God is raising up for this early stage of establishing the Kingdom economy.  I highly recommend you to listen to this sharing by clicking here.  Feel free to write me if you would like more information on our work to bless Kingdom companies.
