10,500 Global Prayer Connect

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.  And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.” – 1 John 5:14-15

In the following weeks leading up to MTC, we will press into the following 4 areas during our intercession.  We believe these areas express God’s heart for this year’s conference and great fruits will come about as we align our prayers to His desire.  The 4 areas are:

1. The Lord will make Himself the “brand” of MTC.
2. We will draw the “10,000” by the Holy Spirit’s testimonies.
3. We will be good MTC stewards.
4. We will set an atmosphere to welcome the Holy Spirit’s presence.

We begin this week with #1 – the Lord will make Himself the “brand” of MTC.

In the past years, MTC served many people well and has established a “brand” of spiritual fire brought by numerous anointed servants and teachers.  In this next season, the Lord wants to firmly establish MTC’s “brand” as a wellspring of living water, where the flow of healing, equipping, and commissioning occurs because of His manifest presence through our obedience to the 10,500 Great Commission assignment.

I thought about how people mostly associate Singing Waters Ministries with God’s presence for healing and restoration.  Unlike many ministries today, it carries no branding by a particular person, but is mostly known for the healing work of the Lord.  Similarly, let’s declare together in one heart that MTC will build its “brand” upon what God is doing, not on who is speaking.

This Week’s Audio Message

“Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him.  He appointed twelve – designating them apostles – that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons.” – Mark 3:13-15

For the past several weeks, we have pondered on Christ’s desire for us to be elevated, like the 12 disciples – from “drinkers” of the living water to “providers” of the living water.  Jesus said in John 7:37-39 that when we drink of His water, we become streams that flow the living water.  We connect into the River of Water of Life that flows from God.  What an unfathomable concept of grace and destiny – truly beyond our comprehension!!

Yet, the woman at the well (John 4) illustrated with elegant simplicity this concept of “elevation” through Christ’s living water.  When she “drank” of this water, it elevated her from a shameful adulteress up to a stream that flowed healing, hope, and destiny.  In a matter of hours, she altered Jesus’ agenda and turned her city upside down.  God has the same desire for all of us – to elevate us with a greater flow of His living water as we come to drink from His river of living water.

MTC 2011 will be a wellspring of living water where, for many of us, the Lord will quench our thirst and elevate us as His living streams.  The Lord called us to start digging the “MTC wellspring” 17 years ago in preparation for the Holy Spirit’s great move in the market place today.  And as Jesus gathered His disciples together to impart an elevation in their assignment, authority, and power, we expect the Lord will do the same at MTC 2011.  We believe that the “MTC wellspring” has reached a level of maturity where Christ will impart unprecedented elevation to His market place disciples.

All of us are in the market place, whether homemakers, professionals, ministry workers, students, or business leaders. Christ today is calling, gathering, and elevating the “streams” that will carry living water to the deep waters of the market place.  For this reason, we strongly encourage you to make every effort to join in this gathering of “elevation”.

This link contains a brief update on the International Christian Entrepreneurs Conference we attended last week in Houston.  We also share a brief vision the Lord gave us for the upcoming MTC to be held in Chicago.  The Lord somehow fired me up with Mandarin during this call so we had no English translation…my sincere apologies to our non-Chinese speaking friends.

“How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! We have been in Houston for the past week ministering and fellowshipping at the International Christian Entrepreneurs Conference (國際基督徒企業家大會).  We have certainly seen the open heaven of unity (Matthew 18:18-20) over this gathering.  The warmth of “goodness” and “pleasantness” permeate richly through this conference because of the oneness and humility demonstrated by the conveners of this conference.  This conference has definitely planted a good seed of the Kingdom.
