10,500 Global Prayer Connect

For this week, we will gather to intercede for MTC which starts Wednesday afternoon next week.  MTC started in 1995 after the Lord gave Pastor Joseph Tai the call to raise up 10,000 market place soldiers in preparation for the coming great harvest (The 10,500 Mandate).  MTC is not just a yearly conference.  Most importantly, MTC is a Kingdom level platform that connects internationally, inter-culturally, and inter-generationally to prepare God’s market place soldiers for the great harvest – one of our means to seek God’s Kingdom and righteousness.

Please intercede with us in the 4 areas that we have been focusing on for the past month.  I have included the MP3 recordings for each session’s message and intercession.

1. The Lord will make Himself the “brand” of MTC – Luke 10:38-42 (MP3).
2. We will draw the “10,000” by the Holy Spirit’s testimonies – Acts 1:8 (MP3).
3. We will be good MTC stewards – Luke 19:11-27 (MP3).
4. We will set an atmosphere to welcome the Holy Spirit’s presence – Psalm 22:3, 2 Chronicle 5:11-13 (MP3).

During the weeks leading up to MTC, we are pressing into the following 4 areas during our intercession.

1. The Lord will make Himself the “brand” of MTC.
2. We will draw the “10,000” by the Holy Spirit’s testimonies.
3. We will be good MTC stewards.
4. We will set an atmosphere to welcome the Holy Spirit’s presence.

This week, we press into #4 – we will set an atmosphere to welcome the Holy Spirit’s presence.

Our worship & prayer team has been in training, testing, and refining for many years and I believe the Lord will release a measure of His power over this group going into MTC.  One of our key responsibilities is to “set the atmosphere” of the conference to usher in God’s manifest presence, like how King Jehoshaphat ushered in God’s power to help King Jerom in the miraculous victory of 2 Kings 3.  This “setting the atmosphere” must begin from all of our various worship and prayer forums and flow into the conference.  These teams are called to prepare themselves “to lead the people from among the people” at all the meetings, from beginning to end.

MTC is a Kingdom asset from the Lord and if we steward it well, it will bring tremendous blessings to us and our future generations.  God gave us MTC as a Kingdom level platform that connects internationally, inter-culturally, and inter-generationally.  It is a wellspring that will powerfully manifest His market place testimonies.  MTC embeds the blessings of Matthew 6:32-33.  If we commit ourselves to building and nurturing this Kingdom vehicle, it will yield great Kingdom benefits now and during the next age when Christ returns (as I shared in this GPC message from Oct.).

We must see ourselves as shareholders of MTC.  The more we invest into and cultivate this Kingdom asset, the more our portion of the return will be, both today and into Christ’s eternal Kingdom.

As part of establishing MTC’s Kingdom “brand” to serve the “10,000”, we expect the Holy Spirit to powerfully elevate many market place soldiers to become “wellsprings of testimony”.  They will become Christ’s witnesses by solving some of the world’s toughest problems – from individuals to national governments, from homemakers ministering to their children’s destinies to CEOs pondering company strategies, from professional managing their careers to finance ministers managing global currency and debt.

We believe that God has begun to draw an initial wave of the “10,000” to the MTC gatherings.  The testimonies that will arise from the ministries of worship & prayer teams (J-Model* teams) will be what draw the “10,000” from all over the world – we must press forth for that Solomon anointing!!  This has been our 10,500 call for the past 18 years and I’m sensing that God is clearing the way for us to experience an elevation of His power.
