When Pharaoh’s horses, chariots and horsemen went into the sea, the LORD brought the waters of the sea back over them, but the Israelites walked through the sea on dry ground. Then Miriam the prophetess, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women followed her, with tambourines and dancing. Miriam sang to them: “Sing to the LORD, for he is highly exalted. The horse and its rider he has hurled into the sea.” – Exodus 15:19-21
This week wraps up the last of the 6 messages God gave us in China on 12/12/12:
- God will raise the church to a level of worship expression beyond that of the Israelites by the Red Sea – Exodus 15:1-21.
By elevating our worship expression, God will impart to the church one of the greatest heavenly Kingdom keys to influence the world’s market place. This is the key of hope.
Hope is one of the most powerful forces that drives our market place. It can propagate goodwill and collaboration among people, companies, and nations. It instills confidence and drives economic growth and the vibrancy of financial markets. Hope is a basic sustenance of kingdom existence and prosperity. Hope is the “joy set before us” that give us strength and resolve to overcome seemingly insurmountable hardships, to invest in the midst uncertainty, to traverse the road of the cross.
Our worship expression is the pathway that takes our hearts to the place of joy, where we turn the Kingdom key of hope. The greater the worship, the greater we realize strength from hope. In the coming great harvest, we believe that God will draw the world’s market places to the church, a city (or market place) on the hill, by our worship expression – worship that imparts true hope and its unrelenting strength. The world’s economic and political systems are heading towards a great tribulation. In that, God is setting a stage for the church to demonstrate His Kingdom on earth, by turning the key of hope to sustain the nations. Hope of this magnitude must come from worship expressions that surpass even the 2 million by the Red Sea.
The Holy Spirit has elevated church’s worship expression in great strides during the past 30 years. These are all preparation for a coming season when God’s manifestation will inspire us to create songs with unfathomable lyrics like, “the horse and its rider He has hurled into the sea”. These songs, in turn, will propel our hope, bringing strength and faith to stand in the place of God against our enemies, just as Jehoshaphat led his nation to defeat Moab and Ammon in 2 Chronicles 20.

A person who can impart hope have great influence. In what ways can you impart hope to your family, workplace, and church fellowship through your worship expression?
Lord, let us become a person who can lead by imparting hope to others. May that hope flow from a worship expression where we see You “hurl the horse and its rider into the sea”. May our worship expression become our testimony that brings authority.
