{"id":674,"date":"2013-04-26T09:17:57","date_gmt":"2013-04-26T14:17:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/?p=674"},"modified":"2013-05-09T10:18:20","modified_gmt":"2013-05-09T15:18:20","slug":"attitude-of-grave-altitude-of-heaven","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/?p=674","title":{"rendered":"Attitude of Grave, Altitude of Heaven"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><em>\u4e2d\u6587\u8acb\u9ede\u64ca<\/em><\/strong><\/span><strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/gpc.ct.168prayer.org\/?p=762\">\u9019\u88e1<\/a><\/em><\/strong><strong><em><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. \u00a0And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. \u2013 Ephesians 1:18-23<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Many may have heard of the adage that \u201cattitude determines altitude\u201d.\u00a0 God\u2019s call for us, as His Kingdom stewards, is to heaven\u2019s altitude.\u00a0 But reaching that requires a completely counterintuitive attitude.\u00a0 That is, reaching heaven\u2019s altitude requires an attitude that heads to the grave.<\/p>\n<p>Ephesians 1 says that God has called us to operate in power that manifests heaven\u2019s altitude.\u00a0 That is the power of resurrecting the dead, the authority we have over death. \u00a0More often than not, God prepares us to experience and steward such power by <a href=\"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/?p=658\">taking us to the fish\u2019s belly<\/a>, through the path of the grave. \u00a0For us to be resurrected, we must first experience death.<\/p>\n<p>When God puts us into the fish\u2019s belly, He seeks from us an attitude transformation.\u00a0 The fish is our opportunity to work through our heart\u2019s fear and resentment \u2013 coming to terms with dying to ourselves in the confidence that we will be resurrected. \u00a0When we know that the power of resurrection awaits at the end, how will that shape our attitudes towards confronting scarcity, failure, injustice, broken promises, missed expectations, financial distress, betrayal, personal offenses, and attacks on our reputation?\u00a0 God expects us, as He had with Jonah, to take to the grave those manifestations of fear and resentment.\u00a0 Let us not fight against death by trying to mitigate our fears through control or to purge our resentments through revenge. \u00a0Let us confront our fears and resentments by walking them to the grave in the expectations of God\u2019s resurrection power, in the assurance that death will shape us into vessels vested with greater capacity to contain His capacity.<\/p>\n<p>As the world\u2019s value system promotes the attitude of dominance and control to gain altitude in recognition and respect, God is raising up a generation of market place soldiers who can gain the altitude of heaven through the attitude of the grave. \u00a0Our most powerful testimonies will come from walking in the expectation of the resurrection and leveraging the power of death as a tool, as a means to Kingdom authority.<\/p>\n<p>God expects us to experience resurrection power. \u00a0Let\u2019s make ourselves available and walk to heaven through the grave!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u4e2d\u6587\u8acb\u9ede\u64ca\u9019\u88e1 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great &hellip; <a href=\"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/?p=674\">Continue reading <span class=\"meta-nav\">&rarr;<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[5],"tags":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/674"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=674"}],"version-history":[{"count":8,"href":"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/674\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":681,"href":"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/674\/revisions\/681"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=674"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=674"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=674"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
