Matthew 5:5<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Last week, we kicked off 2013 with the core intercessory team giving thanks for the past and blessing what is to come in the future. \u00a0You may listen to that powerful time of prayer offering<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/villarkstrategygroup.com\/pub\/ttfh\/prayerconnect\/130103%20Prayer%20Connect%20-%20New%20Year%20s%20Blessing.mp3\">through this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This week, we press onto the second of the <a title=\"blocked::https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/?p=527\" href=\"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/?p=527\">6 messages<\/a> God gave us as heart preparation for the upcoming year.\u00a0\u00a0 This message is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>God will reveal to us new      insights in what it means to inherit the earth, opening our eyes to His      heart for heaven-earth connection \u2013 <a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/Bible.cfm?b=Mat&amp;c=5&amp;v=5&amp;t=NIV#top\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/Bible.cfm?b=Mat&amp;c=5&amp;v=5&amp;t=NIV#top\">Matthew      5:5<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jesus tells us in <a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/Bible.cfm?b=Mat&amp;c=6&amp;v=19&amp;t=NIV#19\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/Bible.cfm?b=Mat&amp;c=6&amp;v=19&amp;t=NIV#19\">Matthew 6:19-21<\/a> to store up our treasures in heaven and not on earth. \u00a0For many years, taking this passage \u201cas is\u201d has caused me to feel \u201cout of the game\u201d for storing up treasures in heaven because my golden hours, as a market place Christian, are trapped in the world for creating earthly value.\u00a0 I believe that many others have similar experiences of confusion and frustration \u2013 in considering their earthly gains to have no eternal significance and feeling like second class Kingdom citizens compared with those who can do \u201cGod\u2019s work\u201d full-time.<\/p>\n<p>But when we look at <a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/Bible.cfm?b=Mat&amp;c=6&amp;v=19&amp;t=NIV#19\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/Bible.cfm?b=Mat&amp;c=6&amp;v=19&amp;t=NIV#19\">Matthew 6:19-21<\/a> in the context of Jesus\u2019 entire mountain side sermon, in light of Matthew 6:10, 6:32-33, and most notably 5:5, we then can see how God is doing a \u201cnew thing\u201d of connecting His heavenly Kingdom to earth.\u00a0 The earth is important to God.\u00a0 So important that He will entrust authority and jurisdiction of the earth only to the meek &amp; gentle \u2013 those whose hearts are sensitive to the Master. \u00a0Understanding this principle will open our eyes to what it means to store treasures in heaven as we labor to create value on earth.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to share 5 points for you to ponder on, hoping that they may provide deeper insights on what it means to inherit the earth.\u00a0 You may also <a href=\"http:\/\/villarkstrategygroup.com\/pub\/ttfh\/prayerconnect\/130110%20Prayer%20Connect%20-%20Meek%20Shall%20Inherit%20the%20Earth.mp3\" target=\"_blank\">link here<\/a> to hear the audio message.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The earth was and still is      important to God because He created it as the universe\u2019s epicenter of      enjoyment and pleasure (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/Bible.cfm?b=Gen&amp;c=1&amp;v=1&amp;t=NIV#top\">Genesis      1<\/a>); the earth was and still is God\u2019s intended dwelling place to      interact with people for value creation \u2013 to be \u201cfruitful and multiply\u201d in      earthly things that are useful, enjoyable, and meaningful (including      people);<\/li>\n<li>Genesis 1-2 shows us that God      designed the physical domain to be subjected under the confines of time,      space, and inefficiency (or unpredictability); He created that environment      to enable us to enjoy the pleasures of satisfaction;\n<ul>\n<li>The pleasure of satisfaction       comes from a fulfillment of desire in our senses \u2013 and desire can only be       actualize (made sensible) in the barriers of time, space, and       inefficiency;<\/li>\n<li>Because sin has corrupted our       desire, we tend to see the physical limitations that actualizes our       desires in a negative light;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>God designed the physical world      and all its limitations as a place for us to dwell with Him and enjoy its      pleasure; God loves the world and has sent Christ to save it; He will one      day completely renew the earth and expand from it into eternity the      pleasure of His Kingdom, the splendor of the Lamb and His wife (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/Bible.cfm?b=Rev&amp;c=21&amp;v=1&amp;t=NIV#top\">Revelation      21<\/a>);<\/li>\n<li>The earth \u2013 the pinnacle of      God\u2019s creation and the epicenter of pleasure \u2013 will be given to the meek      because:\n<ul>\n<li>Meekness is strength and power       under control; it is not weakness;<\/li>\n<li>Meekness is heaven\u2019s value       system manifested on earth;<\/li>\n<li>A heart without meekness will       seek to control and hoard the \u201cpleasures of the physical\u201d;<\/li>\n<li>A meek heart can be entrusted to       govern the economies necessary to manage the unlimited demand for       pleasure in a physical environment with limitations;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The key to understanding <a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/Bible.cfm?b=Mat&amp;c=6&amp;v=19&amp;t=NIV#19\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/Bible.cfm?b=Mat&amp;c=6&amp;v=19&amp;t=NIV#19\">Matthew      6:19-21<\/a> is to see God\u2019s heart for connecting heaven and earth;\n<ul>\n<li>Storing treasures in heaven       means to bring about earth\u2019s value creation under heaven\u2019s Kingdom       agenda, under heaven\u2019s value systems \u2013 such as meekness;<\/li>\n<li>It is not just about doing the       work of ministry; but is about seeking first God\u2019s Kingdom and       righteousness in all our work of creating earthly value \u2013 as we have been       created to do;<\/li>\n<li>Earthly treasure will decay by       moth and rust if they are separated from God\u2019s heavenly will to restore       Christ\u2019s earthly Kingdom;<\/li>\n<li>Like our perishable bodies       becoming imperishable when the physical is connected to the spiritual (<a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/Bible.cfm?b=1Cr&amp;c=15&amp;v=42&amp;t=NIV#42\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/Bible.cfm?b=1Cr&amp;c=15&amp;v=42&amp;t=NIV#42\">1       Corinthians 15:42-58<\/a>), so will our physical treasures become       imperishable when they connect to the spiritual, when earthly treasures are       created for Christ\u2019s Kingdom agenda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>We hope that this message has provided you a clearer view of God\u2019s heart for the earth and how to store up heavenly treasures in our daily work. \u00a0The content is very rich and we would be glad to hear from you deeper insights through your study and prayer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u4e2d\u6587\u8acb\u9ede\u64ca\u9019\u88e1 Audio Message Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. &#8211;
