This Week\u2019s Audio Message<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So do not worry, saying, \u2018What shall we eat?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we drink?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we wear?\u2019 \u00a0For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.\u00a0 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. \u2013 Matthew 6:31-33<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/em><\/p>\n

In serving Tony Wear during the past quarter, the Lord worked through us to fulfill a very practical need for this company.\u00a0 As Elder Donald Wu sought after Christ\u2019s Kingdom priority in reviving the company brand equity, the Holy Spirit revealed to us the need to establish the company\u2019s core values on His word.<\/p>\n

A company\u2019s core values will drive its brand identity, products, and culture. \u00a0For example, Apple carries a core value of \u201csimplicity\u201d that has its origins in Steve Job\u2019s Buddhist beliefs. \u00a0Many aspects of Apple\u2019s product design reflect this \u201cminimalist\u201d philosophy and have resulted in very sleek iPhones and iPads simple enough to mesmerize even three year olds.\u00a0 Driven by this simple core value of \u201csimplicity\u201d, Apple has been rewarded by the \u201cworld\u201d as its most valuable company.<\/p>\n

What about those who seek after Christ\u2019s Kingdom and righteousness? \u00a0According to Christ\u2019s promise, the rewards of \u201cpagans\u201d will only be the beginning. \u00a0God has called us, as market place pastors, to help companies strive for success and significance through practical expressions of \u201cseeking first His Kingdom and righteousness\u201d. \u00a0The practical expression for Tony Wear in this endeavor lies in establishing its core values on the word of God.\u00a0 Through a process of prayer and scripture study, the Lord provided Tony Wear the following statements:<\/p>\n

Company Destiny<\/strong>:\u00a0 to reflect God\u2019s fervent redemptive heart.\u00a0 In God\u2019s very first act of giving after Adam & Eve sinned, He provided them clothing to cover their shame through the sacrifice of a life (Genesis 3:21<\/a>), to give them a path to the restoration of life \u2013 of purpose and significance.<\/p>\n

Core Values<\/strong>:\u00a0 driven by the principles of \u201cThe River of Life\u201d \u2013 to live for purpose and significance.<\/p>\n

Through \u201cThe River of Life\u201d core values \u201cto live for purpose and significance\u201d, Tony Wear has established its 2013 autumn\/winter seasonal theme as \u201cAll Things are Possible\u201d.\u00a0 This theme, as a building block of Tony Wear\u2019s brand identity, will drive all product and promotional design for that season.\u00a0 We expect that this activation of Kingdom DNA will bring to the fashion world a tremendous testimony of creativity as we reflect the image of Christ.<\/p>\n

    Inspiration Unlocks Our Potential<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The human DNA has been encoded with untapped potential that can be unlocked by the key of inspiration.<\/p>\n

    Inspiration comes from a confluence of \u201cliving water\u201d and faith.<\/p>\n

    \u201cLiving water\u201d opens our eyes to our destiny, our God-given potential that can achieve beyond what we believe is possible.\u00a0 Faith fuels the courage that drives our determination \u2013 the perseverance to live out that vision of the \u201cliving water\u201d, to overcome great odds in the belief that \u201call things are possible\u201d.<\/p>\n

    Stories that flow the confluence of \u201cliving water\u201d and faith can inspire.\u00a0 And when such inspiration unlocks our DNA to taste the fruits of defeating the impossible, we, in turn, become vested with a story to inspire others, bringing to them the \u201cliving water\u201d and faith.\u00a0 The TW man strives to thrive in such virtuous cycle, seeking to taste the stories and to become, in himself, a story to inspire others.<\/p>\n

    The Bible\u2019s Story of Inspiration<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    The ancient book of wisdom, the Bible, tells a story of inspiration where \u201cliving water\u201d and faith converged.\u00a0 The story spoke of a woman devoid of any respect from her community because she lived with a reputation of a licentious lifestyle.\u00a0 She was relegated to a life of rejection and never dared to hope that she can influence others for any good.<\/p>\n

    One day, this woman came in contact with Jesus and learned about His \u201cliving water\u201d \u2013 the water that flows from the River of Life.\u00a0 When she drank that \u201cliving water\u201d, it activated the true potential of her DNA by opening her eyes to her destiny.\u00a0 Within a matter of hours, her \u201cgift\u201d as a promoter of her body to men was dramatically transformed into a promoter of \u201cliving water\u201d.\u00a0 In the determination fueled by her faith, she set out to influence her town by promoting to them the \u201cliving water\u201d of Jesus.\u00a0 Inspiration allowed her to achieve the impossible \u2013 a licentious woman bringing to her community the greatest moral transformation it has ever experienced.\u00a0 Through the \u201cliving water\u201d, this woman saw the sunshine behind the shadows of her life.\u00a0 Through her faith, she lived out the story of that sunshine, an unwavering testimony proving that all things are possible.<\/p>\n

    We live in a harsh world.\u00a0 But in a place where the odds are stacked against us, the sunshine still shines behind the shadows, hope can reign in the face of extreme adversity, and the power of inspiration will activate when \u201cliving water\u201d and faith converge.<\/p>\n

    An American poet eloquently expressed this message as such:<\/p>\n

    We are crooked souls trying to stay up straight
    \nDry eyes in the pouring rain where
    \nThe shadow proves the sunshine
    \nThe shadow proves the sunshine<\/em><\/p>\n

    The TW Man\u2019s Pursuit of Inspiration<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Whether or not he is cognizant, the TW Man, like everyone, carries the baggage of a \u201ccrooked soul\u201d.\u00a0 But even in his struggle to reconcile the mixed motives of ambition and nobility, or his fight to stand in the pressing \u201cshadows\u201d of past failures, the TW Man instinctively seeks the \u201csunshine\u201d that can set into motion the virtuous cycle of inspiration.\u00a0 He vigorously pursues to activate his DNA, to taste those stories that can elevate him to become a story himself, to inspire others in the amazing confluence of \u201cliving water\u201d and faith \u2013 where all things are possible.<\/p>\n

    Tony Wear and Tony Jean have a call to envisage the AW2013 TW Man, a man who longs to activate his DNA by tasting the recipe for inspiration \u2013 the confluence of \u201cliving water\u201d and faith.\u00a0 As a \u201ccrooked soul\u201d, he is not without fear, uncertainty, or insecurity.\u00a0 But in such shadows, he takes to the inspiration that can bring hope, confidence, imagination, determination, perseverance, and sacrifice \u2013 the inspiration that seeks the satisfaction of overcoming great odds, to prove once again that \u201ceverything is possible for him who believes\u201d*<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
