This Week\u2019s Audio Message<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, \u201cHow beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!\u201d \u2013 Romans 10:14-15<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Last week, in talking about a market place pastor\u2019s role to \u201cactivate Kingdom DNA\u201d, we delve into the topic of \u201dwashing the people, company, and their processes through God\u2019s word<\/a>\u201d. \u00a0The key insight in this principle, especially in the work place context, is finding the appropriate \u201cinsertion point\u201d to bring in God\u2019s word.\u00a0 While the church fellowship\u2019s model of worship and teaching works well in that setting, this model often encounters a difficult fit in the work place. \u00a0Like how orbital reentry needs to be done at the right angle and timing, we need to seek God\u2019s revelation for the right \u201cangle\u201d and \u201ctiming\u201d so that when we \u201cpreach\u201d God\u2019s truth, we are received as people of \u201cbeautiful feet who bring good news\u201d.<\/p>\n

God wants to send messengers who walk with \u201cbeautiful feet\u201d, preachers that know how to walk through the right \u201cinsertion point\u201d and preach the message that the recipients would deem as beautiful \u201cgood news\u201d.\u00a0 God has established an insertion point in every situation that we must partner with Him to identify.\u00a0 In the context of the work place, the insertion point may be a certain department, project, theme for process improvement, or initiatives for elevating brand value.<\/p>\n

At Tony Wear<\/a>, the Spirit has led us to \u201cinsert\u201d His truth through the seasonal product theme that drives their brand identity. \u00a0The \u201cpreaching\u201d is not just an adjunct activity that compete for company resources. \u00a0But God\u2019s word has been injected into the core of the product development process and has become a key factor in determining the market appeal of the apparel collection. \u00a0Through this initial injection of God\u2019s truth at the right insertion point, we expect that over the course of several product seasonal cycles, the \u201cwashing\u201d of God\u2019s word will steadily expand to other parts of the company operation \u2013 transforming the company culture as its Kingdom DNA becomes activated.<\/p>\n
