This Week\u2019s Audio Message<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>Then God said, \u201cLet us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.\u201d \u00a0So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.\u00a0 God blessed them and said to them, \u201cBe fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.\u201d – Genesis 1:26-28<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

To the woman he said, \u201cI will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.\u201d\u00a0 To Adam he said, \u201cBecause you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, \u2018You must not eat of it,\u2019 cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. \u00a0By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.\u201d – Genesis 3:16-19<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Last week<\/a>, we introduced the work the Lord led us to at Tony Wear \u2013 to \u201cinfuse Kingdom DNA\u201d into the company\u2019s business strategy, products, and operating culture and bringing about a greater reflection of Christ\u2019s likeness.\u00a0 In the week of pondering on this topic, the Holy Spirit granted us a deeper insight on \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d.\u00a0 From that, I would like to briefly pause on the Tony Wear story this week and share on the concept of \u201cactivating Kingdom DNA\u201d.<\/p>\n

When God created Adam & Eve in His image, He imparted them a DNA that reflected Christ\u2019s likeness.\u00a0 In addition, God infused into Eden a Kingdom \u201cseed\u201d or \u201cDNA\u201d encoded with the full potential to be fruitful and multiply.\u00a0 \u201cEquipped\u201d with their DNA, Adam & Eve served God in Eden\u2019s \u201cmarket place\u201d environment \u2013 to carry out value creation and expansion \u2013 to govern with the most awesome creativity, productivity, righteousness, justice, love, wisdom, celebration, honor, splendor, glory\u2026everything that reflects the likeness of Jesus.<\/p>\n

When Adam & Eve chose the path of disobedience, the functioning of that \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d changed.\u00a0 Pain and toil became part of the \u201cfruitfulness\u201d & \u201cmultiplication\u201d.\u00a0 Productivity in the \u201cmarket place\u201d became impaired.\u00a0 Sin inhibited the \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d such that Adam & Eve\u2019s ability to drive Christ\u2019s Kingdom agenda (1:28 Agenda<\/a>) and reflect His likeness became severely hampered.\u00a0 This condition, like genetics, passed onto Adam & Eve\u2019s subsequent generations and their market places \u2013 including ours.<\/p>\n

The study of genetics has shown that we seem to use only a small portion of our DNA.\u00a0 The rest \u201cunused\u201d portion is termed \u201cjunk DNA\u201d.\u00a0 Depending on how one defines junk DNA, it can comprise 80%-95% of our genetic code.\u00a0 We either do not understand the function of junk DNA or, for some reason, they have been inhibited.\u00a0 It seems that God may have embedded us with a greater potential than our bodies actually manifest.\u00a0 Junk DNA offers quite an interesting parallel of how sin has affected our \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d.\u00a0 It can be said that sin brought about \u201cjunk Kingdom DNA\u201d, hampering our productivity in the market place and inhibiting our ability to reflect Christ\u2019s likeness.<\/p>\n

All people are created in God\u2019s image and already carry \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d.\u00a0 Christ\u2019s sacrifice opened the way to restoring the \u201cjunk\u201d portion \u2013 to reactivate the Kingdom genetics that were inhibited by the Fall. \u00a0Contrary to what we put forth last week, we do not have to infuse \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d into the market place.\u00a0 We just need to activate what God has already infused during creation.<\/p>\n

This means that ministering to the market place is to activate its \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d, to unlock the \u201cgenetics\u201d in people and companies that manifest a greater likeness of Christ in their value creation.\u00a0 God is calling a generation of market place teachers & pastors, a different class of Kingdom consultants, to do just that.\u00a0 Next week, we will share on how our Tony Wear<\/a> experience helped us see this role of a market place pastor \u2013 one that can activate a company\u2019s \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d.<\/p>\n

Market Place Prayer<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

May the Lord raise up market place leaders and ministers to activate \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d in companies like Tony Wear, to transform them into a greater likeness of Christ, and to be a witness to the end of the earth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
