This Week\u2019s Audio Message<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. \u00a0But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. \u00a0Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. \u00a0And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. \u2013 2 Corinthians 3:15-18<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

One of our key assignments in the 10,500 market place call is to infuse \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d into enterprises with Kingdom-minded leaders.\u00a0 This is to ingrain \u201cKingdom genetics\u201d into a company such that its vision, business strategy, products, and operating culture can be transformed to reflect Christ\u2019s likeness, just as our children reflect our likeness because they possess our genetics.\u00a0 We would like to take the next few weeks to share about our recent experience in infusing \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d into an apparels company \u2013 and how it can shift the culture of an organization to transform to Christ\u2019s likeness.<\/p>\n

In late 2011, the Lord opened the door for us to partner with Donald Wu, CEO of Tony Wear.\u00a0 Tony Wear<\/a> is a public company listed in Taiwan focused on the design and distribution of men\u2019s fashion wear.\u00a0 Its Shanghai based operation designs the apparel collections and oversees a network of 800 retail stores throughout China.\u00a0 Donald, as part of Tony Wear\u2019s board, felt God\u2019s call to transform the company for His Kingdom purposes.\u00a0 So earlier this year, Donald came out of retirement and took the helm of Tony Wear.\u00a0 He also began fasting to seek God\u2019s heart on a direction to infuse \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d into Tony Wear.<\/p>\n

As our intercessory network began to pray over Donald, Tony Wear\u2019s management team, and its business operations, the Lord revealed to us an initial \u201cinsertion point\u201d for infusing \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d.\u00a0 A common practice in the fashion industry is the use of seasonal themes to inspire apparel design and product promotion.\u00a0 After taking charge of Tony Wear, Donald noticed right away that the product lines desperately needed a meaningful theme to reenergize their \u201cproduct soul\u201d.\u00a0 Tony Wear needed a vision or storyline to inject life to its products so that they can connect to the market place with \u201cpurpose & relevance\u201d \u2013 beyond just a piece of clothing.\u00a0 The Holy Spirit then moved us with the idea to incorporate the yearly 10,500 MTC themes as the basis for Tony Wear\u2019s seasonal themes.\u00a0 Since the MTC 2011<\/a> theme was \u201cThe River of Water of Life\u201d, Donald decided to adopt this theme and take one year to develop it into Tony Wear\u2019s 2013 product lines.<\/p>\n

Connecting the 10,500 yearly themes to Tony Wear\u2019s product lines has great Kingdom implications.\u00a0 This initiative opened an avenue to infuse \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d into Tony Wear\u2019s design teams, who in turn, will infuse the same \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d into products that will touch the market place.\u00a0 The 10,500 theme brought Kingdom relevance to the company\u2019s product development processes.\u00a0 It also allowed us to begin to \u201cdisciple\u201d the executive and design teams in a natural and relatable manner.\u00a0 In the next few weeks, we will share how this experience has brought to us a new understanding for \u201cmarket place pastor\u201d and how \u201cKingdom DNA\u201d can powerfully transform corporate culture.<\/p>\n
