{"id":137,"date":"2012-05-24T02:29:29","date_gmt":"2012-05-24T07:29:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/?p=137"},"modified":"2012-06-01T02:02:19","modified_gmt":"2012-06-01T07:02:19","slug":"market-place-witness-experience-open-heaven","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gpc.168prayer.org\/?p=137","title":{"rendered":"Market Place Witness &#8211; Experience Open Heaven"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><span style=\"color: #008000;\">This week\u2019s message is prepared by Pastor Joseph Tai.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/villarkstrategygroup.com\/pub\/ttfh\/prayerconnect\/120204 Prayer Connect - Leading with Love Capacity.mp3\" href=\"http:\/\/villarkstrategygroup.com\/pub\/ttfh\/prayerconnect\/120517%20Prayer%20Connect%20-%20To%20be%20a%20Witness%20in%20the%20Market%20Place.mp3\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: blue; font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/a><a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/villarkstrategygroup.com\/pub\/ttfh\/prayerconnect\/120204 Prayer Connect - Leading with Love Capacity.mp3\" href=\"http:\/\/villarkstrategygroup.com\/pub\/ttfh\/prayerconnect\/120524%20Prayer%20Connect%20-%20Witness%20in%20the%20Market%20Place%20-%20Experience%20Open%20Heaven.mp3\"><strong>This Week\u2019s Audio Message<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>\u201cBut you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.<\/em><em>\u201d<\/em><em>&#8211; Acts 1:8 <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This coming Sunday is Pentecost, which is also called the day of first fruits. \u00a0It is the day of the Lord\u2019s favor, of His grace, and of open heaven. \u00a0It is this open heaven that brings down God\u2019s blessings, grace, authority, wisdom and power.<\/p>\n<p>Scripture provides a few examples of when heaven opened:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When Jesus was baptized to show His obedience \u2013      Matthew 3:16-17<\/li>\n<li>When the saints all joined together in prayer\u00a0\u2013      Acts 1:14<\/li>\n<li>When Apostle John faithfully loved the Lord to      the end \u2013 Revelation 4:1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Acts 1:3 says: \u201cAfter his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive, He appeared to then over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.\u201d \u00a0Later, Jesus commanded them to not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift the Father promised, the Holy Spirit. \u00a0They shall receive the power from the Holy Spirit and be His witnesses. \u00a0Then he was taken up to the heaven. \u00a0In people\u2019s eyes, that was a situation of hopelessness for the disciples because their Lord was gone. However, when they joined together in prayer, heaven was opened.\u00a0 They were filled with the Holy Spirit that resulted in breakthroughs and witnesses. They:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spoke in other tongues as the Spirit enabled      them\u2013 2:2-4<\/li>\n<li>Preached boldly \u2013 4:8-13<\/li>\n<li>Ministered to others \u2013 6:1-7<\/li>\n<li>Took on martyrdom as a witness for the Lord \u2013      7:54-60<\/li>\n<li>Healed from sickness \u2013 9:17-18\uff0c32-40<\/li>\n<li>Were full of faith \u2013 11:21-24<\/li>\n<li>Were sent out \u2013 13:1-3<\/li>\n<li>Denounced heresy \u2013 13: 8-12<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Market Place Prayer<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>May the market place soldiers join together in prayer in obedience and faithfulness to God.\u00a0 May they sustain their love for the Lord to the end so that they will experience open heaven, being filled with the Holy Spirit and becoming His witnesses.
